13.✓Australia–Go up the Giant Stairway.

The reason this is on my bucket list is because it’s probably one of the most famous and prettiest hikes in Australia.

The story.
Damn its hot, why is Australia so hot…
But goddamnit it’s beautiful.
You may be asking what I’m doing but it’s very simple, I am on a huge hike in the beautiful Blue Mountains called the Giant Stairway, and I love it. Granted I’m hot and sweaty, I’ve gone through three bottles of water and I don’t know if I can make it. I’ve just walked past a giant lizard which stared at me like I was his dinner.
I took a couple of photos of him and then carried on my way. It was incredibly foggy, you couldn’t see far in front of you. It lended a very horroresque feel to my hike, it was beautiful. I love these times though, some of the best photos I’ve ever taken is with fog rolling down the hills.
This hike is long and tough. I enounter people from all around the world having conversations as they pass me. I eventually make it to the bottom and I start looking around; it’s absolutely beautiful and amazing. It’s good to have that feeling of looking around and as I look up I see all the stairs ascending up into the fog. I know that I did well but then it hit me I’m only halfway there and I’m gonna have to walk all the way up again. I sit down to take a rest and drink some water, I know that only half my journey is done but it’s well worth it.
I stand back up, pop in my headphones and off I go, listening to the beautiful sound of Joe Rogan’s voice. Sorry this is such a short post, I’m still learning how to write and sometimes it’s tough but I do highly suggest going to the Blue Mountains. I love you all and I’ll see you in the next post.
