This is the place that I am currently working and I absolutely love it I am learning a lot of important skills in life including how to manage the kitchen create a menu and work efficiently and there’s a lot of very specific skills you learn when working in off grid resort

I sadly do not leave in the best of terms at this position. I tried my best to, I give a months notice and she didn’t want me to quit so she gave me two days to leave. Being in the most North Western community in Canada. It was a real shock I Loved working there. I just wanted to move on and experience new things within the Yukon.
But I learned so much being so far away from the city. It took 5 1/2 hours one way to get to White Horse. Following the speed limit. You had to do a lot of planning for the restaurant and cooking for the kids.

I learned a lot working at Pret. The store that we worked at was the flagship store, right next to Trafalgar Square. So it was constantly busy. My main job was working as one of the main baristas. I was juggling different coffee orders that were yelled out by at least 3 people on till.
I had to mentally remember the drinks and make them to order and mark them correctly so people with allergies would not get the wrong drink. it was incredibly fast paced and I learned so much. I’m very thankful for the chance that I got working there.

How can you not love the idea of working for Cirque du Soleil has not been a dream of every child to work at the circus iCarly go to work at one of my famous circuses in the world and my job is to cook for the performers and technicians so I got to meet every single person that played and I’m still good friends with them to the state but I got to learn how to cook amazing food from all around the world and the cooks at work down there were some of the smartest and most intelligent men I’ve ever met

This was the first place I actually ever ended up making pizza and it was in China it was an interesting and amazing experience and I learned a lot about adaptability at the time I own is the face of Chinese and once I step foot in the kitchen for the first day I realize no one in the kitchen spoke English so I had to learn how to make pizza and how to cook Korean food and learn how to speak Chinese all at the same time while also managing the PMC café in Bur

It is not every day you can help restore two boats that are over 120 years old happy I got to do it for about a month and I’m not gonna lie it incredibly hard but it was so worth it I used to love the skills I learned when I was restoring the church pews at Alberta Job Corp. so that was good but I really am happy I got to volunteer and restore these two beautiful boats

This is one of the more odd moments in my life I ended up living in a parking lot of Golden Sands feeding the homeless your hairy Krishna you set up with the 5000 emails I was one of the people who managed the volunteers is an amazing experience and my cooking skills are pushed to the Extreme

This is probably one of the cutest volunteer positions I’ve ever done I volunteer taken care of kangaroos koalas and any other free animal native to Australia has been hurt by the agricultural industry or by vehicle was very sad at times and very tough for a job where you work 24 seven it was one of the most satisfying jobs I’ve ever had

When people ask me what I did in Japan I get to laugh and say that I learned how to use a chainsaw my main job in Japan was clearing out terraces to make a organic orchard it was a lot of hard work and appoints it was kind of dangerous but I got to properly use a chainsaw and learned how to do pretty big projects as well as traditional Japanese food

This was not teaching kids by any means this was teaching professional university students they were asking questions that were incredibly complicated and they were preparing to try and get comfortable speaking to a native English speaker and help me help them speak my family I learned a lot about the English language funnily enough as well as how incredibly hard-working the the Korean people are

This experience of me working on a farm with such long hours has given me a lot of chances to grow myself. I’ve learned a lot of new skills in the time that I’ve worked here including the importance of working together, hard work and to never give up.

I never thought that I would fall in love with fixing small appliances and by golly I really did I would get an old oven and then be like hey do you think you can fix this it’s been a couple hours trying to figure out and eventually I got it working and it was one of those things is so satisfying to know that the money that’s my Find My fixed going towards help people in need it was lots of fun

This was the first experience I got to take care of animals and it was my job to walk to clean the cats and dogs I actually oddly enough got to be interviewed on the Rick Mercer report when I was super young when he came to humain society
-Taking care of dogs cats and rabbits as well as other small animals
-Assist with the movement of animals through the shelter and maintain proper records including animal monitoring cards, computer records, and identification as required

Working with kids to be very difficult but to help kids in need to volunteer with first Nations kids was such an amazing experience I was shadowing the teachers and I can’t even make a couple lessons myself where we did a little science experience it was so much fun
