Pret A Manger

September 2021 -February 2022
Barista, Till, Cleaner

I learned a lot working at Pret. The store that we worked at was the flagship store, right next to Trafalgar Square. So it was constantly busy. My main job was working as one of the main baristas. I was juggling different coffee orders that were yelled out by at least 3 people on till.

I had to mentally remember the drinks and make them to order and mark them correctly so people with allergies would not get the wrong drink. it was incredibly fast paced and I learned so much. I’m very thankful for the chance that I got working there.

-Worked as main barista preparing hot drinks in a very fast pace environment.

-Worked on till making exact changes and taking customers orders in a happy friendly way.

-Helped move organise and maintain stocks using FIFO.

-Help maintain the property through deep cleaning and checking all air filters lights and other routine checks.
