I am going out for a nice night cap. But it is not beer it is tea this time. I know bad ass right.

Tonight  I am going to  Jiu Fen A-Mei Tea House an incredibly famous and beautiful tea house where it’s lit with  beautiful red lanterns at night. The building is made in a beautiful old style architecture way. It is said to be the Setting for studio Ghibli spirit away.

it’s an absolutely amazing beautiful and breathtaking building.

But I wasn’t thinking that at the moment at least it wasn’t the biggest thought in my head. I went on a girls night with two girls we wandered through the dark barely let streets of Jeu fen.

Surprisingly speaking we didn’t get to lost even though the streets wind back-and-forth in an out in a complicated pattern. We where lucky that we didn’t get lost but for me deep down  I kinda prefer it.

Eventually we made it And dam it was busy for a teahouse at 10 pm. it definitely was the jumping place old ladies were chatting about gossip. Old men are playing card games and there’s a couple foreigners sitting down in awe.

Anyways we got politely placed down by a nice guy and you give us the story of this building and the tea that were gonna be drinking. We politely listen and enjoy him making us a 1st cup of tea.

And then he left us to our chats and it was amazing. We just sat down and chatted for about two hours about life love the pursuit of happiness.

As we sip tea and looking out at the beautiful skyline. it’s an amazing place the teahouses builds the top of hill that overlooks the ocean and the city. I can see why somebody can fall in love with this please.

But like with all good things have to come to an end and after we drank about our weight and tea and had a couple small treats it was time for us to leave. We paid said goodbye and it took a couple of photos and we went on our way.

Such a beautiful moment with such beautiful people and beautiful conversation nothing can go be wrong in life.

The moral of this random weird short story is I really hope you guys all open up and try and take in the world around you.

I’m doing that right now as I write this story and looking out my city of Calgary and I feel lucky to be here and I feel lucky to be travelling the world with people that I love.
