Make your own bucket list
Hello what is on your bucket list?
195.✓Eat at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Truth be told I don’t know why this was on my bucket list, probably because they’re all around the world. Also – hard rock memorabilia – so can’t complain. This restaurant seems like the pinnacle of Americanization – a fatty burger, a huge portion of food, a rock-themed restaurant – it just screams American and that’s the reason why I wanted to go.
It is something that’s all around the world and the representation of what that is interesting to me.
very luckily had the chance to go on a date with my girlfriend to the Hard Rock Cafe in Sydney and I remember the first thing we did when we walked in was take photos. There was almost nobody there.
Apparently huge functions do happen and we’re just catching it right at sunset with a beautiful view of the harbour. We started by taking some really cool photos of me behind the drums and then we went to go and find a waiter to seat us down.,
which took a surprisingly long time. We had to find the bartender and ask him to get someone but eventually, a really nice flamboyant man helped us. He sat us down right in front of the Harbour where you could see people milling about as the sun was setting, it was absolutely beautiful. Then we proceeded to order food – I got myself a greasy burger, of course. Rachael being vegetarian got a vegetarian burger. Everything was beautiful – the burger looked amazing and the fries were crispy. The thing that really got me wasn’t that cliché Americanization shit, or the food, or the rock memorabilia; it was the view of the harbour that was presented to me and Rachael was amazing.
To watch the sunset with someone that you love eating nice food is never a bad thing. But other than that we finished our meal, we enjoyed the drinks we paid for our waiter. We left with a beautiful memory and hopefully, many more will be made.
I love you all and I hope you enjoyed the post
