Make your own bucket list
Hello what is on your bucket list?
37.✓Canada–see the Rock of the Matterhorn
Just the idea of someone luging this rock is just funny to me
I’ve said it once and I’ll probably say the thousand more times goddamn Canada!!! is called it’s early in the morning and I am in a stop off in Toronto at city I have passed through many times but never been in.
I feel lucky because it’s a long layover but knowing my luck I will be missing my plane and I will get beat by my girlfriend. (lol JK)
But I’m not thinking about that. I’m thinking about the idea of finding a big boulder in the middle of a city. I know that may sound odd but there’s a thing called the rock at the Matterhorn. But I’m not thinking about that. I’m thinking about the idea of finding a big boulder in the middle of a city. It’s a huge rock from Switzerland to commemorate the building of the CN tower.
I just got off a long train into the city from the airport, it’s still very dark everybody that pass me his sleep in their eyes and I bet I do to.
I stumble up to the front counter of the train station and try and spit out my words. I laugh at myself because I feel a little drunk on sleep, or the lack there of.
The worker laughs a little and gives me a second to catch my thoughts. Jokes on him I really don’t know if I’ll ever catch all of my thoughts but I shrug it off my shoulders and ask him my question.worker laughs a little and gives me a second to catch my thoughts. Where can I find a giant boulder from Switzerland?
He looks at me as if I am on every drug known to man I laughed and realize how hard it would sound for me to answer and I describe to him this rock close to the CN Tower he quickly pop service phone searches it up and point me in the direction. He looks at me as if I am on every drug known to man I laughed and realize how hard it would sound for me to answer and I describe to him this rock close to the CN Tower he quickly pop service phone searches it up and point me in the direction.
It turns out that it’s only about 500 m away lucky stars I can also go for Tim Hortons. I start walking down a great hallway and I get popped out right next to the CN Tower I didn’t realize it was so tall it’s a very beautiful and majestic building and I can see why the Swiss wanted to commemorate it at the time it was the largest building in the world at least one that’s made out of steel.I start walking down a great hallway and I get popped out right next to the CN Tower I didn’t realize it was so tall it’s a very beautiful and majestic building and I can see why the Swiss wanted to commemorate it at the time it was the largest building in the world at least one that’s made out of steel.
After about couple minutes I find the rock try and shoot some videos with my shaking hands realize it won’t work take a couple photos and try and run to find a Tim Hortons. After about couple minutes I find the rock try and shoot some videos with my shaking hands realize it won’t work take a couple photos and try and run to find a Tim Hortons.
While sitting there looking at the photos I start to read the plaque and I realize the history of it is quite beautiful. While sitting there looking at the photos I start to read the plaque and I realize the history of it is quite beautiful.
I we all know how much I love public art . And this one is no different just the idea that thousands of people are walking past this rock and not even think about it not even realizing it’s from one of the most famous mountains in the world that is why I like public art and this is why it’s on my bucket list.
