Pie and mash Some of my favourite food is the simple things, the things that you go to eat when you need to sop up the alcohol in your stomach after watching the football game at the pub…. that is why pie and mash is on my bucket list,

that warm meaty taste with the mash and parsley liquor cannot be beat, it sits like a brick in your stomach and helps you get on with your day.

How can anything like that truly not have a cult following! Thank God pie and mash does though and it is all over the world. I remember when I was living in Australia and they would have pie shops everywhere and you could go in the middle of the night to get yourself a curry pie. Presently speaking though I do not think it’s that popular in Canada, I wish it was; I feel as if a warm pie in your hand would warm you up just as good as a Timmys double double except I think it might be a little bit more filling.

There’s an extensive history to these pies and even the company that we went to was over 100 years old. But I feel like with all the post that I do about London I can say that everything here is just so old, it’s aged gracefully whiskey or the Queen. P.S. I do love the Queen, she is so damn cute with her corgis! But I’m getting ahead of myself and my ADHD is really showing right now.
