468.✓Greece–Drink Ouzo.
By Dane Garner and Edited by Rachel
Intro
Why is this on my list.

Reason Ouzo is on my bucket list is because it’s one of those traditional alcohols in a country similar to Chinese rice wine Japanese saki or whiskey in Ireland.

I’m very lucky that I got a try it granted it’s about as rough as you can go there is  really not much of a story here.

I went to a beautiful specialty liquor store and got a bottle ouzo I cracked open and tried it and it tasted like gasoline and black licorice.

It has a very similar taste to absinthe with Star anise it’s actually quite a nice flavour if you mix it in with a little bit of water or  club soda but first time I drank it it was straight and all my god it burnt on the way down.

God bless that stuff and anyone who drinks it.
