They said don’t pick up a hitchhikers,

At least that’s what my mom said and I am not the type of person to go against what my mom says. But what my mom dose not know will not kill her (ps mom if you are reading this this is all in my “imagination”

I’m in the land down under red dust, kangaroos, outback etc. etc.

After a gruelling six months of working on the dairy farm six days a week starting at three ending at seven. My boss takes me to the office. As I am walking through the sliding glass doors my mind is racing did I do anything to get me fired I think to my self. But Bob smiles at me and says in his booming accent  “Dane today is your lucky day you get three months off”

I blink at him not understand what he meant. “three months off” he repeats.

I think to myself that’s a lot of time what will I do. I ask Bob if I did okay He laughs and says that I am doing an amazing job.

This he tells me that there is a slow times in the year and he dose not. need me. But he says he wants me to come back when the season starts. I smile when I told him I will be there with bells on. But then It hit me. WHAT WILL I DO

I am a 24 year old with my own car and some spending money the world is my oyster. And I am going to try and suck it all up lol.

The next morning I turn on my laptop and start looking up what the fuck I will do  I’m going to do for the next three months.

Here is a small list of things I can do with the 3 months

1.vollinter

2.sleep for the whole 3 months like a bear.

3.live in Sydney

4.road trip.

I pick 1 and 4 after thinking it over.

Then the next morning I start to prep my car. Or I try. Oil looks good it is only as black as my soul. And my tiers are balder then Samuel L Jacksons head.  I think that my Toyota can handle the outback. Even if it is falling apart (like me)

I make myself a nice breakfast and I drop off a 30 pack of beer and office telling everybody that I’ll be back in a few weeks.

And then I’m off just like Little kids learning that his boundaries are now 3 blocks instead of two. As I drive down my farms dirt road I have no clue what I will be doing but I know It will be fun/odd.

The days are passing as fast and a Calgary summer.

I never knew that road trips where so much fun. Waking up early going to bed late enjoying hikes. Seeing sites go to the hundreds of different beaches that’s not even a joke. and the photography oh my god the photography and taking hundreds of photos.

I’ve been skipping the big cities because I find that they’re kind of boring so it’s a small towns and the small-town feels.

About a week in on this grand adventure. I’m driving down Highway and I see if figure coming to focus. At first I thought is a scarecrow, (like a dum ass) but I could tell after just a few seconds that it is a hitchhike. Every single thing is running through my head. Will I stop or not? Is it legal? Will I be safe?

My mom always told me not to pick up hitchhikers. But in the back of my head that little tiny voice that always gets me into  a little bit of trouble tells me  do it .This is how you get cool story’s so just like always I listen to that little voice.

By this time the person is coming in to more and more focus. It’s a woman.  She smiles as I pull up She asks where I’m going I say I” have no idea” I’m just driving around. So I ask her if she would you like to join? she smiles and says yes she throws her bag in the back sits next to me and introduces yourself ( I will change her name to bob)

there is a little bit of a acquired silence in the car then once we hit the highway she asked me if it’s true that I really don’t  know where I am going. I tell her yes I have no clue I’m just driving around enjoying myself for a few weeks. She laughs and says she wants  to go see the mountains and see a kangaroo in the out back I told I can help both of those and off we go.

She becomes my co pilot and I even let her drive a bit but I don’t know what the law would say about that. And over  a few days we start to get closer we are flirting and even cuddling. One morning we got up early in the morning and the sun is cresting over the lake  that we parked next to. We are laying next to one another and we start chatting about our days plans to this beautiful view and off next to a few trees we see some roos drinking it is a beautiful pic the sunrise the  lake and her I love it.

We Start planning the day over are shit canned food we plan to go to to the worlds biggest waterfalls.

After a few hours of driving eventually make it to the hiking trail that goes to The waterfall me and her both incredibly we don’t know what can happen the Cooper kiss on the cheek start running eventually we make it to the waterfall it’s huge it’s a enormous I can even describe how tall but as we start walking closer and closer to the hiking trail I can see that there’s foot marks on the rocks leading down to the waterfall small and ask her to go for a swim funny thing is people had swimming suits with us hey you never know right turns out we really didn’t need them them we start to hop the rocks: closer and closer to the pool next to the waterfall we plopped down in her backpack and we start to undress we slip onto her bathing suits just for the safety of it but then I start telling her have love to take photos she smells so should like to take photos of me naked remember kids consent to key I stand on the rock and get ready to jump in I counted 3 to 1 and I jumped Holy fuck it’s cold I can see and feel everything freeze but after a couple minutes I start to warm up as I swim I swim closer and closer to the waterfall feeling the cold droplets at me in the face is a swim I climb up onto a beautiful rock and Get naked I can see her laughing at me on sexually take my clothes off I started to poses feeling my penis shrink as the cold water hits I laugh to myself thinking how ridiculous this life is but it’s still beautiful eventually I feel like I’ve had enough photo she’s probably take hundred I finally jump back in the pool to cool water cover me and I feel absolutely refreshed she asked if I can take some photos of her I agree after a couple minutes of me taking photos for her next to the waterfall we swim a little bit more together and then we get dressed back in her hiking clothes and hike up the mountain what a beautiful moments and it’s amazing to feel so comfortable next such a kind person was an espresso remember forever
