why not follow me?
Hello what is on your bucket list?
This one has been on my bucket list for many years and I’m very happy how I crossed it off.
Me and Rachael got a chance to volunteer in the south of France, overlooking a mountain, and even on some beautiful mornings you could see across the south of France to the ocean, so needless to say it is probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in my life.
You could hear the birds chirping each morning and the sound of the palm trees swaying back-and-forth; it’s absolutely beautiful on every single level.
Me and Rachael thought it was a perfect time to cross off “drink a bottle of wine in France”. Luckily enough we got a delicious cheap bottle of wine – not going to lie, it wasn’t that hard to find! You could probably find a good bottle of wine in every shop, as it’s what France is known for.
I’ll remember that night for very long time, me and Rachael sitting side by side as the sun was setting sitting and cracked open a bottle of wine, looking out upon the valley with its beautiful reds, oranges and purples shining bright. It’s not cold as we crack open the wine and pour ourselves a glass, then we cuddle next to each other and give each other a cheeky little kiss, her warm against me.
Taking a sip of wine, it’s sweet just like Rachael and I feel very lucky. I think about the complexities of my life and how I got here and then I thought about a famous lecture from Richard Feynman:
I find it quite beautiful but at this moment all I was thinking about was the love I have next to me and the beautiful wine I’m drinking. I’m very lucky to have that and I’m very lucky to have her in my life. We cuddle up a little bit more chat and about life, making each other laugh and slowly but surely, we drink that whole bottle together and we are feeling pretty good. From there we cleaned up our mess. The sun by this time has long since set and we went to bed feeling lucky it for it.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little post thank you so much, I love you all and I’ll see you in the next post.
