The Mona Lisa is probably one of the most famous paintings in the world and for me I want to see it. But better then the mona lisa in all the other painting in the Louvre, some of my favourite paintings are there but also some of the most famous so of course the Mona Lisa would be on my list. but I’m not gonna lie just like everybody else I think that it is incredibly underwhelming.

Honestly the Mona Lisa as I say is a little underwhelming but it is not the worst thing in the world by any means
the artistry and the technical prowess of the painting is still very apparent. It’s just a long lineups and the tourist snap hundreds of photos are granted me and Rachel were a part of those tourist but the rest of the museum was an incredible place way better than the Mona Lisa itself. Where the Mona Lisa hits home for me is the history. The coloured history of being on the wall of napoleons bedroom The man who wanted to have sex with it and everything in between. It’s a beautiful painting with an amazing past and I’m happy I got a crossed off my bucket list, especially since how iconic it is. It’s very apparent it’s one of those things you can say that you did in your life 20 years in the future and you go oh that’s pretty cool.
